religion.....and how some of it annoys me :)

this is kind of a serious subject but i thought that i might as well right my own opinion......in RMPS (religious, moral, and philosophy) we are learning the different christian veiws on when life begins......firstly, why does it matter? i mean yeah theres abortion to think about but i personally dont think that people should not be allowed to have an abortion just because of someones views. so you dont like abortion? well dont have one.
I am a christian (church of Scotland) but i dont think that anyone should be pressured into believeing, doing, or having an opinion on anything.

a couple of months ago people came into my church raising money so that they could go to deepest depths of Africa to teach them the bible....why? the people are happy without some strangers coming them and telling them that they need to believe this.

There is another thing that annoys me about religion, in RMPS they talk about how "all Christians believe this...." no they dont! just because you believe in parts of a religion doesnt mean that we believe everything and doesnt mean that we all think the same! im sure there are lots of scientists with different opinions so why cant we have different opinions!!

And yes i am saying that i am a christian but i dont believe in a lot of things that the bible says, i think that a lot of the stories are made to look better, and that the bible is more of a guidline...

i think that  yes, you should have an opinion (though you dont have to) but you shouldnt force your opinions onto other people cause really they dont want to know!
